There is no call out charge to your Office or Home.

Travel time is not charged

I have consolidated my charges and my hourly rate is £35 and the minimum charge is £35.  A pro-rata hourly rate applies after 1st hour. Hardware prices are based on my suppliers prices. On-Line assistance is charged at £15 for the first 30 minutes and then the typical hourly rate.

I will attempt to repair the item on site, but in some cases it may be more convenient to remove the item to my workshop, where I have better facilities.

By the very nature of Laptops/Notebooks construction, repairs can be expensive, although Hard Drive, DVD, Keyboards can be repaired at a reasonable cost.  Motherboard/Internal Power Supplies/Screen repairs  can be quite expensive. The age of the machine may dictate whether the repair is economically viable.

Printers tend to be much more reliable these days, but if repairs are needed, then there is usually a point where it would be un-economical to repair and so I would advise accordingly.

Infected PCs or Laptops can be cleaned and prevention software checked or installed. When the PC or Laptop has been repaired I can supply further advice and information notes.
